I don't understand it. Once again, someone with a good amount of community influence said that when you use the React JavaScript framework you learn "more JavaScript" when compared to other frameworks (Angular in this particular case). I've dabbled in React; and, I've been using AngularJS and Angular for the better part of a decade; and, I don't understand what it is that people in React are doing that is fundamentally different from the things that people in Angular are doing? **I would like someone to help me understand this perspective!**

The best that I can understand it so far is that people look at Angular's templating language and think that it makes it "less JavaScript". That they would rather use a .map() in their JSX file than an ng-repeat or ngFor in an HTML file. Or, that they would rather use an if in their JSX file than an ng-if or ngIf in an HTML file.

But, I'm just grasping at straws here; because, in both cases you're still using JavaScript to build the view-model that is then used to render the DOM (Document Object Model). In Angular, the abstraction is the HTML template; in React, the abstraction is the JSX syntax. They're just different abstractions.

At the end of the day, both Angular and React (and Vue and Ember and every other framework) use all the same JavaScript. And, every framework has quirks and things that you just have to know in order to use the framework effectively (like React's synthetic event system or that hooks have to appear first thing in a Function or that inline Function handlers cause extra rendering cycles).

Is this post a little bit of a rant? 100% absolutely.

But, this post is also a plea to understand what it is that people are seeing that I am not seeing. I wouldn't really care except for the fact that I keep hearing people with influence say that React teaches you more JavaScript; which will, without a doubt, hold sway over people with less experience and more trepidation about their career paths and their technology choices. And when that sway is founded on something that seems misleading (at least to me), things get icky-icky in my tum-tum.

If you can think of something that makes React "more JavaScript" than other frameworks, please leave a comment. I may push back against your comment; but, then at least we can have a conversation and better understand each other's perspectives.

It is a good practice to periodically audit the performance impact of your embeds and third-party code because embed source code may change. You can use this opportunity to remove any redundant code.

### What does employee retention mean?

Employee retention is the ability to hire and keep employees for a long period, avoiding rapid employee turnover. This means that companies have to create a welcoming environment for their staff and make it worthwhile for people to stick around, rather than move onto something else. Companies have to balance giving people autonomy with enough direction, while giving people the opportunity to grow and most importantly making people feel like they’re valued and that their work is contributing to something greater than themselves.

The term ***retention*** can lend itself to misinterpretations in the implementation of this strategy. Here are some examples of unfair practices:

Employee Retention: How to maintain your team

On the evening of 12th Aug, KV was elated to be promoted as AVP in the MNC he works with. But during his HR interaction, he was again advised to hire ‘street smart’ guys in sales. This word has been haunting him since his college days.  It lingers in his memories, in all his interactions, from his first job orientation till today; the management wants the employees to be ‘street smart’.  

When he enquired its meaning, he was explained that employees should know the pulse of the market; they should be in continuous touch not only with their customer but the market and should be open to interaction. 

Though he understood what higher authorities wanted but he was never convinced. To him, it’s a basic job of a marketing guy. Moreover, he finds it tough to ascertain if quality of being ‘street smart’ exist in corporate guys and how is it linked with target achievements. 

With the same thought, he came back home, uncorked his favourite wine and while sipping the wine, he was trying to asses if this quality exists in him. He realised that he got 6 promotions in 9 years, he is open to ideas shared by his team, he goes with them on customer calls, his cabin is always open for his teammates. He replies to all the emails and sends timely reports as and when needed by higher authorities. But he has never considered himself as a street smart guy.

With that oven’s beep, he came back from his thoughts and while having the last sip of wine with the perfectly roasted chicken he decided to unleash it through personal meetings.

Next morning after signing in he went to nearby ‘Laxman Ji’s’ tea stall to relate to ‘the street’ and ‘the smart’ avenues closely.

 It’s a 150 ft wide 300 meters long road with offices and restaurant on left; a pavement with a bunch of various stalls, followed by a veil of a wall to a residential house behind it at its right. 

Laxman ji was boiling tea in his vintage, burnt out the giant saucepan. Next to his tea stall is Bhaiyaji Paan stall. They were interacting about the revocation of article 370 and its impact while carrying on their daily chores. After about 10 minutes a gas vendor came there on his cycle with cylinders tied on both sides. Laxman Ji cracked a joke with him and he returned it back. With a zesty smile, he bought a smoke from Bhaiyaji and a tea from Laxmanji. They gossiped about that chola- kulcha vendor besides Bhaiyaji, who had some family issues and did not come. After finishing his tea, he paid him and moved on to his daily life. A couple of minutes later a vegetable vendor came and the déjà vu repeated but this time with stories of some residents.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. ### Where does it come from?
